What a pack really costs
We think in packs, not pieces. That changes the math. As the count in a pack rises, the per-piece figure falls. Some of our packs run to 1,600 pieces. At the top end of the range, the price per piece works out to under a cent. But a bigger pack is only a deal if you will use what it holds. When you need a dozen, the honest choice is the smaller pack. Value is what you actually use, not the lowest number on a tag.

Sizes that repeat
A 27 inch bandana square shows up across the range, in cotton and satin. One-size stretch caps fit most adults, so the same head measurement carries from a beanie to a helmet liner to a bouffant cap. Zipper tape sells by the yard, which makes it easy to order exactly what a project needs. If you are unsure about hat sizes, measure head circumference with a soft tape just above the eyebrows. One number does the work across several shelves.

Care by material
Cotton
Machine washes and keeps its shape. Dry low. High heat is what shrinks a cap, not the wash.
Satin
Cold and gentle, or by hand. Heat dulls the face of the weave, which is the whole point of satin.
Felt and wired stems
Wipe only. Water swells felt and rusts wire from the inside. A damp cloth does everything a sink would.
Some materials hold up to a hot cycle. Others need a little more consideration. We keep our care guidance simple so your pieces keep their color and shape.
Check the material below and follow the line that matches what you own. When in doubt, cold water and a gentle cycle are a safe place to start. Take care with the fibers and they will take care of you. Cotton: Machine wash warm. Tumble dry low. Satin: Cold water, gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry. Felt: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not wash.
Raw material
One spool, many projects
A roll of bind wire and a few wooden shapes turn a bare hoop into a wreath. Wrap the wire around the frame, tuck in the shapes, hang it up. The same spool holds gift wrap closed, with a ribbon bow on top. In a classroom, felt and wooden shapes become name tags or small ornaments. The craft shelf is project raw material. One pack of wire, one roll of ribbon, and the project list keeps growing.
Wreath binding
Bind wire holds a bend and hides in the greenery. A 65 foot spool binds a season of door wreaths.
Gift wrap
Ribbon by the roll and wooden tags by the pack: the wrap station stops running out mid-December.

Zipper tape, by the yard
Replacing a zipper starts with matching the gauge. Our #5 tape is a common size in this range, so measure your old tape before you cut. The tape comes on a continuous yard roll: cut what you need, sew it in with a zipper foot, and attach the pull. Pulls are swappable, so you can change the look or replace just the worn part.

For small heads
Ordered them for myself. So small I could not get them over my head. Gave them to my 4 yr old granddaughter. They did not stretch. They were all cute pattern wise.
Doesn’t spin
Here we are two months after purchase and the pieces are not useable. The wood swelled (I think) and the red circle doesn’t spin to change direction. Top that off with the handle breaking of. Since this happened to both pieces, I attribute the problem to poor quality.
High quality ribbon for great price
Purchased to make door decor for my front door for the 4th of July and this ribbon did not disappoint. It arrived quickly, was packaged really well and is even more beautiful in person. Excellent buy!

Even color throughout, easy to work with
This brown wired twine is great for crafting and floral arrangements. The twine is evenly colored throughout the roll. The wire is sturdy enough to add short spirals will stand on their own, but not so stiff that it's difficult to work with. It's a good amount of product that will likely last me a while.

The Syhood way
Syhood is a packs company. Not a gadget maker, not a fashion label. The unit of everything we do is the pack: twelve satin bandanas, two hundred wooden buttons, six cotton skull caps, a long roll of zipper tape. Around that unit we keep one promise, and we keep it plain.
The count on the bag is the count in the bag, and every piece in the bag should match the one on top.
We make the everyday things people buy in quantity. Cotton caps and helmet liners for crews and wards. Satin squares and stretch turbans for hair that needs looking after. Crew socks and warm gloves by the pair. Nylon coil zipper tape by the yard, with the pulls to match.
Paper-wrapped floral wire that holds a bend and hides in the greenery. Felt, foam and wooden shapes for classrooms and craft tables. And the seasonal shelves that fill a home for a week and then fold away: party tables, Halloween costumes, a Christmas tree dressed from one bag.
How a Syhood pack is put together
We think in batches. Whatever is being packed, the questions are the same ones, asked in the same order. Does the scale agree with the count. Do the fingers agree with the scale. A batch is weighed first, then spot-counted by hand, because scales catch the big mistakes and fingers catch the small ones.
Colour gets the same discipline. Every colour we pack is matched against a kept reference swatch, not against the previous batch. Matching against yesterday lets drift creep in a shade at a time until the tenth bag no longer matches the first. Matching against the swatch means the tenth bag and the first bag answer to the same original.
Then the hands-on checks, on samples pulled from the batch. Fabric edges have to hold. Printed patterns have to line up. Elastic has to come back after a stretch. The person who pulls the sample writes what they found, and what they found is what these pages say. The one who checked the swatch writes the colour name.
Why we sell by count
Because quantity is where honesty is easiest to lose. A bag of assorted anything invites rounding. A stated count can be checked by anyone with a table and ten minutes, and we like being checkable. It is also where the arithmetic favours you: as counts rise, the per-piece figure falls, and at the top of our range a single piece works out to under a cent. A big pack is only a bargain if you will use what it holds, so when you need a dozen, buy the dozen.
The same honesty runs through the pages themselves. A measurement appears here because the specification states it, never because a page looked empty. A missing fact stays missing. Prices carry the date we last updated them. Care advice follows the material: cotton takes the machine, satin asks for cold and gentle, felt and wired stems want a wipe and nothing wetter.

Is Syhood a real brand?
Yes. We make everyday packs: hats and bandanas, socks and gloves, sewing and craft supplies, seasonal decorations. This site is our own range of 865 products across 15 departments, and each one carries the pack count and the size we publish for it.
Where is it made, and who ships the parcel?
The parcel is not ours. Ordering, payment, delivery and returns happen at checkout with our retail partner, and the dispatch address on the box is theirs. We publish the range, the counts and the prices.
How do I return something, and how long do I have?
The return goes through the retail partner you ordered from, inside the window shown at checkout. We do not set that window, so no number for it appears here. For a pack that arrives short or damaged, start the return there.
Is there a warranty?
There is no published warranty on packs of everyday supplies, and we do not invent one. What we publish instead is checkable: how many pieces are in the pack, what size they are, and what each piece costs.
How do I work out how many packs I need?
Start from people, not packs. The calculator on this page takes the number of people and how many pieces each one needs, then shows which pack size is cheapest per piece. Of our 865 products, 502 state a pack count, and the largest holds 1600 pieces.
Why is the price per piece so different between packs?
Because bulk packs price differently from small ones, and the difference is often several times over. Every card shows the price per piece next to the price, so a bigger pack that costs more can still be the cheaper choice. The cheapest piece in the range works out under a cent.
What do the critical reviews say?
Of the 210 quotations published here, 73 sit below five stars, printed word for word with the spelling left alone. Thin fabric is the complaint that repeats most, followed by pieces smaller than expected and a colour that did not match the photograph.
Why do some products have no star rating?
Because none has been collected for that product. We print a rating where there is one and nothing where there is not, rather than a zero or an average borrowed from a similar pack.
